As Chiefs fans, we look forward to Super Bowl Sunday as if it were a grand holiday! Made me think about how running a business is so much like a football season.  If we call the right plays throughout the year to effectively drive home win after win, we come to the end of the season with another chance of ultimate victory!

Every team will win some and lose some.  Ultimately, as business owners working with teams of people, if we are passionate about winning new accounts and serving people to the best of our ability, consistently calling the right plays for our clients, we will likely win more than lose.  Every ending year should provide a sense of progress and new knowledge that helps us work on ourselves and our team to further improve performance.

Running a business is certainly a team effort. How exceptionally well teams of people can work together dictate the smooth, successful, operations of most companies. Teams actively communicating consistently through listening, planning, innovating, collaborating, focusing on the same goal, utilizing a well-shared game plan are big players in the elements that drive success on Main street and on the friendly fields of strife.
